What is Bone Broth?

Bone broth is a return to when soup was made by carefully taking the time to release the nutrients and essential amino acids from the full chicken. Think “food as medicine!”

Is there collagen in your bone broth?

Yes!  Roughly 70% of our bone broth is collagen.  Parks & Nash bone broth comes not only from the bones, but also the skin where collagen peptides are most concentrated.

 

What is the difference between Bone Broth and Stock or regular Broth?

Bone broth has a significantly higher concentration of nutrients and amino acids than broth or even stock, which are both more watered-down.

 

How much protein is in each serving?

20+g of protein is in each serving-size cup.  It's important to note - eating 20g of chicken breast protein (or chickpea protein) and 20g of bone broth protein is NOT the same thing.  Your body metabolizes and uses proteins (and the respective amino acid profiles) differently to fuel you.  The collagen protein in Parks & Nash bone broth offers proteins that most Western diets are deficient in.  For that reason, it's a game changer when on a wellness journey.

How much P&N should I eat to see the benefits?

Eating 1-2 of our soups a day will provide you with the right amount of the amino acids (the "collagen" proteins) that are missing from typical diets.  But feel free to start small - even one of our bone broth soups can energize you compared to most other meals, and you may feel some of bone broth's benefits well before consuming the recommended daily dose.

 

Are your products safe for people with allergies?

Yes!  Our flavors are very friendly for most allergies:

Our Spicy Chili contains a small amount of soy protein (non-GMO and gluten-free). While the soup is still mainly chicken bone broth, the soy protein gives each spoonful a great texture.

The coconut milk powder in our Coconut Thai is sometimes classified as being in the tree nut family, but there are no other nuts in this or any of our flavors.

 

How do I prepare your soups?

SHAKE well

ADD hot water to the fill line  (8 oz)

How did you develop the recipes?

One of the 69 Certified Master Chefs in our country has an official role within Parks & Nash.  He crafted Parks & Nash Bone Broth Soups to be the best-tasting instant soups in the market.

    

Where do the chickens come from?

Our chickens are sourced predominantly from the Midwest and California.  All natural, no hormones or antibiotics.  All USDA-inspected.  Our chickens are fully mature, yet on the younger side, to minimize the leeching of metals from the soil into the chickens.

 

Where are the ingredients sourced?

Parks & Nash bone broth is sourced domestically, see above.  Our other ingredients are sourced mainly from the US, though a couple ingredients, such as organic coconut milk powder and exotic spices, come from overseas places like Thailand.

 

Can I give bone broth to my child?

Of course!  At the end of the day, we’re a healthier chicken soup.  Children love Parks & Nash.

 

Is it safe for pregnant/nursing women?

Yes.  Our product is fully cooked, and then dehydrated, eliminating risk of bacteria growth.  Our chickens are antibiotic and hormone-free, and USDA inspected.  All our ingredients have received their passing Certificate of Analysis, and our finished goods have also received their passing Certificate of Analysis.
